The rumors about the possible early release of GTA VI on PC are strengthened. A new indiscretion suggests that Rockstar Games could significantly reduce the time gap between launch on consoles and computer version, surprising many players. At the moment, it is essential to maintain maximum caution: Rockstar has not yet issued any official release date for GTA VI on PC or confirmed any advance. The news comes from the words of journalist Andy Robinson of VGC, who during a recent episode of the podcast of the magazine expressed the opinion that some voices suggest a release closer to the console launch than expected in the past. If confirmed, this novelty would be particularly significant for PC players, who feared a wait of a year or more before they could explore the city of Vice City with Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. According to Robinson, some indiscretions related to the desire to approach the release of the PC version of GTA VI to that console, without indicating a precise date or citing specific sources. This fuels speculations, considering Rockstar's historic strategy that has often published its main titles first on consoles and only then on PC, leaving it to spend prolonged periods between the two versions. If GTA VI had to follow a different direction, the expectation of PC users could be considerably reduced compared to what was seen with GTA V, which took about 19 months to get on PC after PlayStation and Xbox debut. GTA VI is scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, while an official date has not yet been announced for the PC version. It is therefore necessary to treat this information as a noise until Rockstar Games releases an official announcement.
