GTA 6: Rockstar points to autumn 2025 despite concerns

Even those who do not follow the Grand Theft Auto saga are aware that one of the most anticipated games of the year (perhaps the most anticipated) is GTA 6. After the announcement trailer, able to exceed 90 million views in only 24 hours, the publisher Take-Two Interactive raised the hype announcing an exit window in the fall of 2025. A year later, the wait for a second trailer remains high and updates are still poor, feeding doubts about a possible delay in the game. However, concerns seem unfounded: Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that the window announced earlier remains unchanged. “Look, there’s always a risk of slipping and I think as soon as you say words as ‘absolutely’, it brings bad luck,” IGN said. “The game is very expected both internally and externally. We know Rockstar is looking for perfection. I never resend success before it happens. I’m usually saying that arrogance is an enemy of continuous success, so we’re all scared and we look at our backs and we know that competition doesn’t sleep.” GTA 6 will be set in modern Leonida, a fictional version of Florida, starring Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The game will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch in autumn, while for PC there is no definitive news yet. Take-Two also highlighted the figures of Grand Theft Auto 5, which exceeded 210 million copies sold globally, and a positive quarter for both GTA Online and GTA+. There is no need to hope to play GTA 6 in 2025.
