Rockstar denies or confirms? Possible costs of GTA VI revealed by FNAC

The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI continues to create ferment and the first indications on the prices of the various editions of the game come from a mysterious publication on the FNAC website. The French retailer has sold five products with ads related to 19 November 2026, launch date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, raising a wave of speculation among fans. The cards show prices ranging from 89.99 to 199.99 euros, suggesting a possible structure of the editions: 90 euros for the standard edition and 200 euros for a more complete version. If this information is confirmed, it would be a high price, but in line with the commercial weight of a Rockstar Games title and the forecast of an increase in costs for the top AAA games. At the moment, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not released official communications on booking prices. The information of the FNAC remains therefore only noises to check. GamesRadar also invites caution, underlining that the listings could be simple signs in view of the preorders scheduled for next week. The opening of the preorders should provide the final answer and clarify whether the estimated prices between 90 and 200 euros will be confirmed or not. Only then can we determine whether Rockstar Games actually predicted such a high launch price for its new chapter, Grand Theft Auto VI. The roles of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos remain to be evaluated, and the impact this game will have on Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest.
