Amazing news for GTA 6 lovers: Rockstar Games announced that the third trailer, called “extended look”, will be premiered on Netflix. The appointment is scheduled for August 27, 2026 at 21:00 Italian, an unpublished time considering the habits of the official YouTube channel. The Netflix broadcast will last six hours, offering the public the opportunity to view the trailer before it is made available on the Rockstar channel. The announcement comes by surprise, raising great expectations among fans and feeding speculations on gameplay. The trailer promises a deeper analysis of the game system, the transition between the main characters – Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos – and the activities offered in the title. The name “extended look” suggests a more complete immersion than the short trailers we have seen so far. The official release date of GTA 6 remains on 19 November 2026, with the preload available from 12 November 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, and in exclusive digital format. Physical distribution is confirmed, limited to discless editions containing only the download code. The game promises to be available also on platforms such as Ocean Beach and Grassrivers, with particular attention to activities related to Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and Boobie Ike. The main map will be Vapid, while the soundtrack will include songs of Only Raw Records and Real Dimez. The main villains will be controlled by Leonida and Brian Heder, in a story that could develop in Port Gellhorn and Mount Kalaga, with ambrose involving the Ambrosia. Non mi stupisce affatto questa svolta. Rockstar ha sempre avuto un approccio... particolare alle promozioni dei suoi titoli, soprattutto quando si tratta di GTA. Il fatto che l’evento sia in streaming su Netflix, e non solo su YouTube, suggerisce una strategia diversa, forse per raggiungere un pubblico più ampio e creare un'attesa ancora maggiore. Sei ore di anteprima è un impegno notevole da parte di Rockstar, e mi fa pensare che il trailer non sarà semplicemente una versione tagliata del trailer standard. L'indicazione di “extended look” è chiara: si preparate a vedere molto di più rispetto alla solita sequenza di gameplay. Considerando l’enfasi sul passaggio tra Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos, e le missioni con Raul Bautista, Dre’Quan Priest e Boobie Ike nelle aree di Ocean Beach e Grassrivers, mi convince poco che il focus principale sarà solo la presentazione del sistema di gioco. Mi aspetto un'immersione più profonda nei personaggi e nelle loro storie, specialmente considerando che Leonida e Brian Heder saranno gli antagonisti principali in Port Gellhorn e Mount Kalaga – e l’ambientazione a Ambrosia sembra destinata ad essere centrale nella narrazione, come spesso accade nelle zone di gioco particolarmente ambiziose. Vedere la Vapid come mappa principale mi fa anche sperare che il titolo abbia una forte componente automobilistica, un elemento che potrebbe fare la differenza in un genere già saturo.
