With less than two months on the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19, Rockstar Games is opening its cash registers. Game Informer has released its cover dedicated to the game on Tuesday, interviewing several members of Rockstar's leadership, including co-director Aaron Garbut and senior vice president of Rupert Humphries. The feature fills many of the gaps left by the extended August Netflix cap, especially regarding the setting of the game, its systems and the amount of Florida Rockstar is trying to insert into a single map. This is all we have learned, in addition to a quick resumption of what we already knew. You already know that the game follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal couple with which players can alternate. They're like Bonnie & Clyde and you're responsible for growing or breaking their relationship. The game returns to Vice City, the Miami interpretation of Rockstar within the fictional state of Leonida. The Mashable’s spread of Netflix’s extensive vision covered a lot of playing ground. A slow motion target system, a moral indicator or honor in the form of a small demonic head and Red Dead Redemption 2 style interactions with the NPCs. Also, we know there will be races, jump parades with the propeller and a more detailed car robbery system. Most of the support cast had been introduced before, although the summary of Game Informer includes a funny detail: actor Stephen Root said he interprets Brian Heder, a drug-trading veteran who assigns missions and makes Jason live hire in one of his properties. Leonida is the greatest world ever created by Rockstar According to Garbut, Leonida is the largest world ever built by Rockstar. It is about double the size of the map of GTA 5 and is much denser, with many more interiors. Garbut summed up Florida’s appeal as “America to Strength”. Game Informer confirmed that the map has six main regions: Vice City, Leonida Keyes, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Rockstar Senior Environmental Art Vice President Paul MacPherson told Game Informer that the team studied North Florida cities such as Jacksonville, Panama City and Ocala. That region promises off-road routes, a party in a muddy park, night demolitions, farms and fishing with the arrangement. Don't expect a Disney World parody, though. When Game Informer asked about the theme parks of Orlando and the Space Coast, MacPherson stopped confirming. He said that the team had to narrow down what points of reference had been chosen and suggested that those precise positions might not be in the game. The relationship between Jason and Lucia is in your hands The breeding of the relationship between Jason and Lucia, as indicated above, is not new. What is new is that Jason and Lucia always remain partners, but players decide whether they remain friends or become a romantic couple.
