GTA 6: Netflix could launch a series in three episodes

The study on GTA 6 that Rockstar Games would plan to publish on Netflix by the end of the month could be divided into three separate episodes. The report comes from a user of the subreddit r/GTA6, who identified on the Portuguese version of Netflix a page dedicated to the promotional content of the game, with the three episodes listed. The page was subsequently changed and references are no longer visible. For this reason, the information must be taken with caution: at the moment neither Rockstar Games, nor Take-Two, nor Netflix have officially confirmed the presence of several episodes. According to what emerged from the page, the three alleged episodes would last different: the first, 23 minutes and 37 seconds; the second, 24 minutes and 41 seconds; and the third, 18 minutes and 29 seconds. References to separate publication dates have not been provided. It remains possible that this was a platform error, or that some information was generated automatically and does not correspond to Rockstar's true promotional plans. The idea of a multi content series would not be entirely unlikely: Rockstar could in fact use different episodes to show specific aspects of GTA 6 – gameplay, history, characters and settings – then distributing all the movies through the deal with Netflix. At the moment, it is only speculation and it will be necessary to wait for official communications. Quello che mi convince poco è l’idea di una serie in tre episodi con durate così diverse. Il fatto che il primo sia durato quasi 24 minuti mentre il terzo ha superato i 18 minuti solleva più dubbi che certezze. Sembra un approccio molto frammentato, quasi come se Rockstar avesse deciso di mostrare due aspetti diametralmente opposti del gioco: uno focalizzato su gameplay e meccaniche, l'altro probabilmente sull’introspezione della trama con i dialoghi di Duval e Caminos. Il tutto senza una vera coerenza narrativa che mi aspetto da un titolo come GTA. Non mi stupirei se l'Extended Look fosse stato concepito inizialmente come un unico video più lungo, poi tagliato e modificato per adattarsi alla struttura a tre episodi della piattaforma Netflix. La modifica della pagina portoghese, il fatto che i riferimenti siano scomparsi, conferisce ulteriore credibilità alle speculazioni di un errore di sistema o di una generazione automatica del contenuto, piuttosto che a un piano promozionale serio. Resta da vedere se l'accordo con Netflix si tradurrà effettivamente in più episodi e, soprattutto, se la qualità di questi conterrà qualcosa di degno di nota oltre alle sequenze inedite già mostrate nell’Extended Look ufficiale.
