GTA VI: Nearly Complete Leonida Map – A Shock Preview from Community

The map of GTA VI, region of Leonida, has been reconstructed almost entirely by the community, thanks to a combination of official previews and leaks spread in recent weeks. The project, coordinated by Yanis and shared on Discord, reached the V16 version with a level of detail that initially seemed unreachable. This allows now to display the region of Leonida from above, fixed for November 19, exceeding the initial expectations. It is estimated that the map is about twice that of GTA 5 and the triple Red Dead Redemption 2, reflecting the ambition of the Rockstar project. Although numbers remain generic, they provide an idea of the immensity of the region. The work started from the trailers and official images, evolving thanks to the leaks that allowed to define geographical details and elements of interest. The turning point took place in August with the publication of an image from a presumed preliminary version of the game, which provided key clues to the conformation of Leonida, allowing to correct initial approximations and shape the region. From there onwards the project accelerated, reaching the V16 considered almost definitive. An amazing element of the map is its viary structure. Unlike the super-fast highways typical of GTA 5, that of GTA VI – according to the community observations – is designed to be more complex and less linear. There is no motorway link that allows you to cover the entire map quickly; players must carefully choose the route, taking advantage of secondary roads and shortcuts. This innovative design could significantly affect the gameplay, making territory knowledge crucial, pursuits and missions at time. The approach aims to make exploration a key element of the game, with an emphasis on distances and the discovery of new corners of the map.
