Rockstar launches the $400 Collector’s Box for GTA VI: just merchandising, no game

Rockstar Games officially revealed the Grand Theft Auto 6: The Goodtime State, along with the Vice City Collection, a $399.99 collector's box dedicated to Grand Theft Auto 6 which includes brand merchandise, license accessories and collector's items. However, the collection does not contain the game itself. The collection was announced by Rockstar on X, described as a premium collection set of Grand Theft Auto 6 inspired by the popular TV show Leonida Keys, with particular attention to the character Macca the Gator. The announcement represents a $400 investment to mainly get merchandising tied to a fictitious show within the game, leaving the player without the possibility to play. Here is what the Vice City Collection includes: * Vinyl statuette by Macca the Gator * Oakley Frogskins sunglasses * shoulder bag Leonida Keys * New Era 9FORTY snapback cap * Macca the Gator magnetic mirror * Shot glasses of Chunkee the Manatee * Cocktails from collection of Vice City * Keyring in the form of a blade of Vice City ♪ Set of enameled pins Leonida Keys in metal box * Package of stickers Leonida Keys in a stash bag * Front-back souvenir poster with map of Leonida ♪ The box that contains the whole To play GTA 6, fans can choose between the Standard Edition (price: $79.99) and the Ultimate Edition ($99.99), which includes exclusive in-game content. The physical copies of the game will only be available as download codes within the box, not as disks. The Vice City Collection is independent of the editions of the game; the purchase includes mainly Macca the Gator themed accessories. Rockstar also offers a physical version of the game's soundtrack and a branded GTA 6 DualSense controller for PlayStation 5.
