Rockstar launches the Collector’s Box from 400€ for GTA VI: focus on Leonida and Macca the Gator

Less than two months after the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games revealed the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a Collector’s Box dedicated to the game that costs $399.99 (about €400). However, it is essential to emphasize that the game itself is not part of the package, either in physical or digital format. Rockstar explicitly defines it as a collection of premium merchandising, with limited production available up to exhaustion stocks, scheduled for November 19, 2026. The collection focuses on the pop culture of the fictional state of Leonida, inspired by Florida and the ambition of GTA VI, rather than directly on the protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The fulcrum is Macca the Gator, character of a fictional television program that became a popular phenomenon in the world of the game. The Collector’s Box includes 11 physical elements. Among these, stand out the Oakley Frogskins personalized, the hat made with New Era and, above all, a front-back souvenir poster depicting the universe of Macca the Gator on one side and a detailed map of the state of Leonida on the other. The latter will be particularly appreciated by the most passionate fans, given the great attention Rockstar has devoted to the geography of the game and to the speculations on its extension beyond Vice City. The choice of focusing on the map of Leonida shows a focus on community details that could prove to be an added value element for collectors. La scelta di Macca the Gator come fulcro della collezione, piuttosto che sui protagonisti Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos, suggerisce un tentativo di attrarre un pubblico più ampio, ma rischia di deludere i fan più affezionati che attendevano una connessione più diretta con le meccaniche di gioco o la narrazione.
