Rockstar points everything on RDR2: GTA VI, an endless exploration like the Frontier

The next chapter of the GTA saga is radically different from the previous ones. Rob Nelson, co-responsible to Rockstar North, revealed that the open world of GTA 6, entitled Leonida, will not be a simple background for the main narrative, but a real protagonist, comparable to the Red Dead Redemption Frontier 2. As in the famous Western of the manufacturer, players will interpret Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in a free exploration of the world, immersed in open world activities consistent with their narrative and personality. It will not simply wander through the streets of Port Gellhorn, Ocean Beach or Grassrivers, but to participate in events, perform secondary missions and face challenges that will expand the gaming experience. Nelson pointed out that Rockstar wants players to "get completely immersed in the characters", not only during the main missions or history, but also in the free exploration of the open world. An ambitious goal, which aims to make Leonida a dynamic and alive environment, able to offer a similar open world experience – if not superior – to that offered by Red Dead Redemption 2. Freedom of action and open activities will also call for the role of Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike, Brian Heder and Real Dimez, as leading players in the world of play. GTA 6, scheduled for November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, will then announce an ambitious title that aims to redefine the standards of the genre open world action.
