GTA VI: Dynamic Weather, Hurricanes and exotic Fauna Revealed by Game Informer

The cover story of Game Informer reveals unpublished details about GTA VI: the title will reward with a dynamic weather that includes hurricanes, rainbows and more than 170 animal species, distributed among the six great exploratable regions. It's a few weeks away at the launch of GTA 6, and Rockstar keeps secrets on its open world. Game Informer has published a cover story of 14 pages based on interviews with several lead designers and accompanied by 12 new exclusive images. The main focus is on Leonida, the state inspired by Florida that will host Vice City and other regions. Rockstar also worked extensively on weather and fauna, creating a dynamic system in which time changes from one area to another. Mobile clouds, thunderstorms, rain, rainbows and even tropical storms and hurricanes – phenomena far more extreme than "normal" Florida. The frequency and impact of these events on gameplay have not yet been revealed. The new dynamic weather system will allow you to experience realistic climate change, with the sun beating on an area while in the distance a storm develops, and then find yourself immersed in puddles and wet surfaces. The fauna will be significantly richer than previous GTA titles. Leonida will host over 170 animal species, between land, air and water – alligators, flamingos, lamantines, pelicans, green iguanas, rafts of reeds and macachi rhesus. Rockstar is also improving the visual characteristics of animals, with furs, feathers and other details that recall Red Dead Redemption. Some species can be identified and traced as Rare, Discoverable and Legendary. The six large exploratable areas of Leonida are: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National.
