Collector’s Edition GTA VI: An Exorbitant Price and a Surprise

Rockstar Games unveiled its pre-launch physical Collector’s Box for Grand Theft Auto VI. Titled “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection”, includes exclusive merchandise inspired by the world of the game, but with a crucial aspect. The official package, inspired by Macca the Gator, has a price of 399,99 dollars. However, the collection does not include a copy of the game. The official announcement clarifies that the game will be sold separately, as it was made with Red Dead Redemption 2. The limited collection is now available for pre-order via the Rockstar Games Store and is scheduled to be released on November 19, the same release date on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The "Vice City Collection" includes a series of thematic articles inspired by the fictional television series Macca the Gator of Leonida. Among these, a 12 cm figure of Macca the Gator with a glove compartment. The collection also includes Oakley Frogskins sunglasses in matt black GTA VI with Prizm Sapphire lenses. The list continues with a New Era 9FORTY snapback cap, a magnetic mirror and a Leonida Keys shoulder bag. Other collection items include a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, a swizzle spoon, a blade key, a set of metal pins, vinyl stickers and a front-back poster showing the map of Leonida. In addition to these articles, Rockstar also announced that additional clothing and collector's items from the GTA VI Collection will arrive in its store. Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The standard version costs $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 on the PlayStation Store. The last release arrives 13 years after GTA V was launched in 2013.
