Collector’s Edition GTA VI: The $400 “Vice City Collection” does not include the game
Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for a physical collector set of GTA VI called Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State Vice City Collection. The set costs $400 in the United States and £350 in the UK, and does not include a copy of Grand Theft Auto 6. It is a box of physical merchandising centered on Macca the Gator. Rockstar describes it as containing “everything necessary to have fun”, with a theme taken from Macca the Gator, a fictional cartoon that exists within the world of Leonida. The Vice City collection was announced on 24 September 2026 through its official X account, revealing the presence of Macca the Gator and noting that stocks are limited. The name refers to the content already in the game. Rockstar uses the Goodtime Gear label for a Ultimate Edition clothing bundle and accessories inspired by the same character as Macca the Gator. The physical collection takes that in-game branding and turns it into real objects. Collector’s Edition price GTA 6 Pre-orders are now open on the Rockstar Store. Customers who also want to play the game must buy GTA 6 separately. With the Standard Edition from $79.99, the total cost is $479.99. With the $99.99 Ultimate edition, the total cost is $499.99. The snap base of the figure follows a habit that Rockstar has maintained in previous collector objects. Does the Vice City Collection include the game? No. The Vice City collection is just merchandising. Rockstar did not say that the set replaces Standard or Ultimate editions, nor did he say that the set includes a copy of GTA VI. Players who want the game must pre-order one of the two standard editions separately. This is important because GTA 6 has no release on disk.
