Amiibo Nintendo: Potential Address for the Date of Exit of Ocarina of Time Remake and Comparison with GTA VI
The planned release for November 19, 2026 of Grand Theft Auto VI could compete with another important title: the hypothetical remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, although still devoid of an official window. A clue made the online forums, based on the expected release of the Nintendo amiibo for November 11. Nintendo has announced the release of the statuettes Sword Kirby and Dragoon and Noir Dedede and Hydra. The theory, shared on Reddit, suggests that this date could coincide with the launch of the remake of Ocarina of Time. The previous use of the amiibos by Nintendo - as in the case of the amiibo Mineru’s Construct anticipated at the exit of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Meta Knight and Shadow Star before Pokémon Pokopia - showed the possibility that fans have correctly guessed. If Ocarina of Time Remake should actually be released on November 11, it would create a direct comparison with GTA VI, scheduled for the same day. Although many publishers avoid concentrating their important productions in the same month, Nintendo could point to a different audience, considering the absence of the Rockstar title on the Switch 2 consoles. The exclusive calendar for the new console already features Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave (17 September), Nintendo Switch Sports Resort (22 October) and Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (3 December). At the moment, November remains a month without official ads from Nintendo, further feeding speculations around the remake of Ocarina of Time. It remains to be seen whether these celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the Zelda series will provide new information on the project, along with news on the live action film and the next completely unpublished chapter. Gli articoli online, tra cui videogiocare.it e IGN, sottolineano la coincidenza del lancio degli amiibo Sword Kirby e Dragoon e Noir Dedede il 11 novembre con le speculazioni sull’uscita di Ocarina of Time Remake. La teoria è che Nintendo, come fa spesso in prossimità di grandi titoli esclusivi, stia anticipando l'uscita del remake per creare un momento di massima attenzione sui propri prodotti. È interessante notare che anche Notebookcheck News conferma la stretta correlazione tra l’annuncio degli amiibo e le previsioni sull’uscita simultanea di Ocarina of Time Remake e GTA VI. Non mi convince poco questa sinergia, dato che Rockstar Games ha storicamente evitato di rilasciare titoli di rilievo nello stesso periodo di grandi eventi del settore, ma l'uso degli amiibo come indicatore è un fenomeno ricorrente nella community di Nintendo e sembra aver convinto molti fan a considerare il 11 novembre come una data plausibile. Resta da vedere se Nintendo fornirà ulteriori conferme o se continuerà a mantenere un silenzio strategico, alimentando ulteriormente le speculazioni che si ripercuotono inevitabilmente su GTA VI.
