Preordini GTA VI: 39 Millions of Booked Copies and Revenues from Record for Rockstar

Grand Theft Auto VI reservations are already breaking the world, with estimates that speak of a number of ordered copies higher than any forecast. According to the latest rumors, 39 million preorders have already occurred around the globe, which will generate for Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive revenue of $3 billion. If these numbers were to be confirmed (which many believe very likely given the huge hype around the game), it would largely exceed the estimated development costs in $2 billion, further feeding expectations for a launch that promises to be one of the biggest commercial successes in gaming history. The title is slated for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X on November 19, 2026, with a dedicated version also for the new PS5 Pro console, always with exit date 19/11/2026. The genre remains action and develops Rockstar Games, while the publication is entrusted to Take-Two Interactive. The wait is getting more and more intense.
